I can imagine an educator using a SN with students who can contribute to conversations about topics discussed in class.  Even for example post a MySpace video of their comments and begin conversations, etc.  

I work with professional students who use web-based resources such as MySpace, YouTube, Live Meeting. 

Can these be extended to create better formal learning communities?</description>
